a work that seems to to change between day and night under the aspect of visual perception. on the one side, the plate seems to be a window and the dark night-sun is glowing out of it. on the other side, the plate projects a schadow onto the floor, a virtual light, between ambience and object in the same time.
all the pigments derive from a single steelplate, that was treated in the same way as the platte on the wall. it took nearly a year to produce all these steel-pigments. it created a new steelplate on the floor which diffuses into space.
the projection has a direction from south-west to north-east, with an angle of 45 degrees, which matches to an approximate position of the sun by 14:00 at the end of april/ beginning of march.
